Karinna Zorce
Associate Attorney
For Karinna, being a family law attorney isn’t just about legal strategy, it’s about walking alongside people during some of the toughest, most personal chapters of their lives. She knows how overwhelming it can feel when your family, your future, or your children are at the center of a legal issue. That’s why she focuses on being more than just a lawyer, she’s a steady guide who makes sure her clients feel heard, understood, and supported from start to finish.
She’s especially passionate about working on cases that involve children, and she believes deeply in finding solutions that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. While family law often involves conflict, she appreciates that it also allows space for creativity and collaboration and she works hard to help clients find paths forward that reduce stress, rather than add to it.
Her path to family law began after earning a political science degree from the University of Michigan and spending a year with AmeriCorps in Detroit. There, she worked closely with elementary school students and their families helping them navigate challenges at home that were impacting the children’s education and wellbeing. It was eye opening work that highlighted just how deeply family dynamics affect every part of a person’s life. That experience sparked her decision to go to law school, with a clear goal in mind to support families and advocate for children in a lasting, meaningful way.
She went on to earn her law degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder, where she continued her commitment to service. She volunteered with the Korey Wise Innocence Project and taught high school students about their constitutional rights through the Marshall-Brennan Project. After law school, she worked as a public defender, an experience that shaped her client-centered approach and taught her how to advocate with empathy, focus, and respect for everyone’s goals and story.
Outside of work, Karinna enjoys slowing down and recharging whether that’s getting lost in a good book, piecing together a jigsaw puzzle, heading into the mountains for a camping trip, or digging into her garden.
If you’re looking for an attorney who will treat your case with care, listen without judgment, and guide you with both skill and heart, Karinna would be glad to meet you.
