Senior Associate

William TaylorWill concentrates his practice on family law, which equips him to meet his client’s needs, ranging from custody arrangements to complex disputed asset division. Will has extensive experience representing clients in divorce, child custody and parenting time disputes, child support, contempt, relocations, post-decree modifications, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. He also practices in the area of criminal defense, particularly DUIs, other traffic infractions and misdemeanors, and domestic violence charges, as well as in general civil litigation, including breach of contract cases, small business disputes, etc. Will has also established a strong appellate practice and has successfully presented oral arguments to the Colorado Court of Appeals.

During his tenure at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Will was named the Student Attorney of the Year for his work in the Community Economic Development Clinic. Will was also named to the Order of the Coif, a nationally recognized society for those graduating in the top 10% of their class. Now, Will helps clients to seek outcomes that will allow them to navigate future life events successfully. He strives to guide those in relationship transitions with clear communication and developed options. Will promotes effective communication with his clients and works tirelessly to achieve favorable outcomes and solutions for their families through both litigation and alternative dispute resolution.

Will has extensive experience in litigation and trial advocacy and previously served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, as the head coach of the Undergraduate Mock Trial Program for 5 years. He now volunteers a considerable amount of time to the Metro Volunteer Lawyers program. Will and his wife and son reside in Castle Rock. In his spare time, Will enjoys cycling, traveling, and cheering on his favorite sports teams, the Indianapolis Colts, St. Louis Cardinals, and Denver Nuggets.
